Introduction
At the end of World War One, both Germany and Japan entered a state of political change. Through the implementation of new policies and changing leadership, both countries used their government to invoke power over citizens. By analyzing events between the years of 1919 and 1939, we help to identify how politics are able to influence the freedoms one may have or the restrictions put upon movement to another place.
